35986 wears the tail number of 44-35884 which had been flown by the Michigan ANG in the late 40's.
44-35884 was lost over Cho-do Is. Korea on June 11, 1952. The crew successfully bailed out and survived,
later to be awarded the Silver star for that flight. In 2007 thier names were added to 35986.
